In early trading on Friday, shares of ResMed (RMD) topped the list of the day's best performing components of the S&P 500 index, trading up 12.3%. Year to date, ResMed registers a 19.8% gain.
And the worst performing S&P 500 component thus far on the day is Intel Corp (INTC), trading down 12.4%. Intel Corp is lower by about 38.8% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are Aon (AON), trading down 7.8%, and Alphabet (GOOGL), trading up 10.9% on the day.
