SC Farm Report on Friday   
	          
   SC Cattle Auctions Weekly Review: Compared to last week all classes of 
feeder cattle 2.00 higher based on limited comparable sales. Feeder 
Steers: Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs 300.00-345.00; 500-600 lbs 285.00-
315.00. Feeder Bulls: Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs 295.00-336.00; 500-
600 lbs 265.00-300.00. Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs 
250.00-290.00; 500-600 lbs 230.00-276.00. Slaughter cows were 8.00 lower. 
Slaughter Cows: Breakers 75-80% lean 112.00-134.00; Boners 80-85% lean 
110.00-135.00; High Dressing 145.00; Lean 85-90% lean 100.00-126.00; Lean 
low dressing 42.00-108.00. Slaughter bulls were 4.00 higher. Slaughter 
Bulls: Average dressing 755-2175 lbs 131.00-156.00; High Dressing 1900 
lbs 174.00; Low Dressing 830-1780 lbs 92.50-132.00. 
   Goats: [77] A Week Ago: 152 Reported Monday to Wednesday. Slaughter 
and replacement classes sold on a per head basis and weights are 
estimated. Kids: Sel 1 20-40 lbs 40.00-55.00, 40-60 lbs 55.00-100.00. 
Sel 2 20-40 lbs 27.50-37.50, 40-60 lbs 50.00. Does/Nannies: Sel 1 
50-70 lbs 120.00-150.00, 70-100 lbs 120.00-180.00, 100-140 lbs 135.00. 
Sel 2 70-100 lbs 75.00-100.00, 100-140 lbs 120.00. Bucks/Billies: Sel 1

130.00. Wethers: Slaughter 1-2 70-100 lbs 140.00-157.50, 100-150 lbs

   SC Grain on Friday. Corn bids were 3 to 4 cents higher; elevator bids 
4.07-5.01, processor bids 4.76-5.06. Soybean bids were 2 to 4 cents 
lower; elevator bids 10.29-11.23, processor bid 12.08 and export 12.23. 
Wheat bids were 3 to 8 cents higher; elevator bids 5.62.
   Cotton on Friday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 0.18 
lower at 77.65.
