SC Farm Report on Thursday   
  	
   Cattle at SC Auctions on Wednesday: No comparisons made on feeder 
cattle due to limited comparable sales. Slaughter cows 25.00 higher, 
slaughter bulls too few to trend. Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1 400-
500 lbs 269.00-270.00; 500-600 lbs 241.00. Feeder Bulls: Medium and Large 
1 400-500 lbs none reported; 500-600 lbs 260.00. Feeder Heifers: Medium 
and Large 1 400-500 lbs none reported, 500-600 lbs none reported. 
Slaughter cows: Breakers 75-80% lean 153.00-154.00; Boners 80-85% lean 
111.00-157.00; High Dressing 159.00-174.00; Lean 85-90% lean 106.00-
138.00; Lean Low Dressing 64.00-115.00. Slaughter bulls: Average Dressing 
1030-2005 148.00-160.00, Low Dressing 1715-2400 lbs 114.50-140.00.   
   Cow/Calf Pairs: Medium and Large 1 1105-1505 lbs Young Aged Cows with 
Calves under 300 lbs 1700.00-2150.00 per pair. Medium and Large 2 880 lbs 
Middle Aged Cow with calf under 300 lbs 1250.00 per pair. Medium and 
Large 2 1075 lbs Middle Aged Cow with Calf over 300 lbs 1800.00 per pair. 
  Hogs on Wednesday: Plant delivered weighted average. National Direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 240-300 lbs 3.24 lower at 56.24. Sows 
live price 300-450 lbs 67.84; 450-500 lbs 73.96; 500-550 lbs 74.23.
   SC Grain on Thursday. Corn bids were 2 cents higher; elevator bids 
4.11-4.76, processor bids 4.56. New crop soybean bids were 9 cents 
higher; elevator bids 9.38-9.68, processor bids 10.08, and export 10.23. 
Wheat bids were 1 to 4 cents lower; elevator bids 5.29.
   Cotton on Thursday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 
unchanged at 66.76.
