SC Farm Report on Friday   
	          
  Compared to last week feeder steers 2.00 lower, feeder heifers steady to 
1.50 higher, feeder bulls unevenly steady based on limited comparable sales,
slaughter cows 5.50 lower, slaughter bulls steady. Feeder Steers: Medium and 
Large 1 400-500 lbs 275.00-297.50; 500-600 lbs 225.00-275.00. Feeder Bulls: 
Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs 270.00-290.00; 500-600 lbs 240.00-260.00. 
Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs 230.00-260.00; 500-600 lbs 
225.00-262.50. Slaughter Cows: Breakers 75-80% lean 115.00-133.00; Boners 
80-85% lean 113.00-135.00; High Dressing 130.00-134.00; Lean 85-90% lean 
100.00-133.00; Lean low dressing 56.00-115.00. Slaughter Bulls: Average dressing
144.00-166.00;High Dressing 164.00-167.00; Low Dressing 100.00-140.00. 
   Goats: [275] Last Week: 299 Reported Monday to Wednesday. Slaughter 
and replacement classes sold on a per head basis and weights are

   SC Grain on Friday. Corn bids were 3 to 4 cents higher; elevator bids 
4.19-4.84, processor bids 4.74. Soybean bids were steady to one cent lower; 
elevator bids 9.57-9.63, processor bid 9.99 and Exports at 10.27. Wheat bids 
were mixed 2 cents lower to 3 cents higher; elevator bids 5.08.
   Cotton on Friday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 6 cents 
higher at 66.67.
