SC Farm Report on Tuesday
Cattle at SC Auctions on Monday: No comparisons made this week due to
limited comparable sales. Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs
262.50-295.00, 500-600 lbs 240.00-259.00. Feeder Bulls: Medium and Large
1 400-500 lbs 280.00-295.00, 500-600 lbs 260.00-268.00. Feeder Heifers:
Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs 240.00-245.00, 500-600 lbs 230.00-244.00.
Slaughter cows: Breakers 75-80% lean 117.00-136.00; Boners 80%-85% lean
105.00-149.00; Lean 85-90% lean 105.00-132.50; Lean low dressing 88.00-
114.00. Slaughter Bulls: Average Dressing 925-2115 lbs 129.00-157.00;

Cow/Calf Pairs: Medium and Large 1 1035 lbs Middle Age Cow with calf

Hogs on Monday: Plant delivered weighted average. National Direct
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 250-300 lbs price was not compared at
62.14. Sows live price 300-450 lbs 65.71; 450-500 lbs 71.35; 500-550
Lbs 72.29.
SC Grain on Tuesday: Corn was 2 cents higher; elevator bids 4.23-4.88,
processor bids 4.78-4.83. Soybeans were 4 to 7 cents higher; elevator
bids 9.71-9.73, processor bid 10.07 and export 10.31. Wheat was 2 to 4
cents higher; elevator bids 5.12.
Cotton on Tuesday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 0.02
higher at 66.45.
