Cattle at SC auctions on Wednesday: No comparisons on feeder cattle
due to limited comparable sales. Slaughter cows steady to 2.00 lower.
Slaughter bulls 6.50 higher. Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs
270.00-285.00; 500-600 lbs 260.00-265.00. Feeder Bulls: Medium and Large
1 400-500 lbs none reported; 500-600 lbs none reported. Feeder Heifers:
Medium and Large 1 400-500 235.00-250.00; 500-600 lbs 235.00. Slaughter
cows: Breakers 75-80% lean 110.00-135.00; Boners 80-85% lean 110.00-140.00;

Sows live price 300-450 lbs 62.70; 450-500 lbs 63.31; 500-550 lbs 69.79.
SC Grain on Thursday: Corn bids were 7 cents lower; elevator bids
4.24-4.89, processor bids 4.79-4.84. Soybean bids 17-21 cents lower;
elevator bids 9.57-9.67, processor bids 9.93, and exports at 10.17. Wheat
bids were 7-11 cents lower; elevator bids 4.70.
Cotton on Thursday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 8 cents
lower at 65.82.
