   SC Cattle Auctions Weekly Review: Compared to last week, feeder steers 
7.00 higher, feeder heifers 1.50 lower, feeder bulls were too few to 
trend. Slaughter cows and slaughter bulls were 4.00 lower. Feeder Steers: 
Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs 270.00-320.00; 500-600 lbs 250.00-278.00. 
Feeder Bulls: Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs 272.50-315.00; 500-600 lbs 
240.00-268.00. Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs 235.00-
255.00; 500-600 lbs 230.00-245.00. Slaughter Cows: Breakers 75-80% lean 
110.00-135.00; Boners 80-85% lean 108.00-141.00; High Dressing 155.00; 
Lean 85-90% lean 105.00-122.00; Lean low dressing 70.00-108.00. Slaughter 
Bulls: Average dressing 129.00-158.00; High Dressing 152.00-167.50; Low 
Dressing 93.00-136.00. 
   Goats: [242] Week Ago: 184 Reported Monday to Wednesday. Slaughter 
and replacement classes sold on a per head basis and weights are 
estimated. Kids: Sel 1 20-40 lbs 35.00-75.00, 40-60 lbs 57.50-100.00; 
Sel 2 20-40 lbs 25.00-35.00, 40-60 lbs 35.00. Does/Nannies: Sel 1 50-70 
lbs 110.00-180.00, 70-100 lbs 130.00-185.00, 100-140 lbs 105.00-280.00; 
Sel 2 70-100 lbs 70.00-120.00, 100-140 lbs 120.00. Bucks/Billies: Sel 1 
70-100 lbs 120.00-250.00, 100-150 lbs 155.00-202.50, 150-250 lbs 220.00;

   SC Grain on Friday. Corn bids were 5 cents higher; elevator bids 
4.29-4.94, processor bids 4.84-4.89. New crop soybean bids were mostly 11 
cents higher; elevator bids 9.68-9.78, processor bid 10.23 and export at 
10.28.  Wheat bids were 5 to 6 cents higher; elevator bids 4.76-5.24.
   Cotton on Friday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 0.59 
higher at 66.41.
