SC Farm Report on Tuesday

***State offices are closed in observance of the New Year's Day holiday 
and no reports will be issued on Wednesday, January 01, 2025.  The next 
report will be issued on Thursday, January 02, 2025.***

	Cattle at SC Auctions on Monday: Livestock auctions are closed 
December 30, 2024 through January 03, 2025.   
	Hogs on Monday: Plant delivered weighted average. National Direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 250-300 lbs price was not compared at 
57.88.  Sows live price 300-450 lbs 41.01; 450-500 lbs 48.20; 500-550 lbs 
50.83.   
   SC Grain on Tuesday: Corn was 6 cents higher; elevator bids 4.63-5.28, 
processor bids 5.18-5.38.  Soybeans were 16 cents higher; elevator bids 
9.68-9.78, processor bid 10.28, and export 10.38. Wheat bids were 3 to 6 
cents higher; elevator bids 4.91. 
   Cotton on Tuesday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 0.08 
lower at 67.15. 
   Fruits & Vegetables:  Prices paid to SC growers at the Columbia State
