SC Farm Report on Thursday  
  	
   Cattle at SC auctions on Wednesday: No comparisons made this week due 
to sales being closed for the holidays. Moderate offering of average to 
plain quality cattle with active buyer participation. Feeder Steers: 
Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs 310.00-370.00; 500-600 lbs none reported.  
Feeder Bulls: Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs 295.00-365.00; 500-600 lbs 
none reported. Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large 1 400-500 260.00-290.00; 
500-600 lbs 240.00-270.00. Slaughter Cows: Breakers 75-80% lean 120.00-
132.00; Boners 80-85% lean 111.00-141.00; Lean 85-90% lean 100.00-120.00; 
Lean Low Dressing 60.00-105.00. Slaughter bulls: Average Dressing 960-1740 
lbs 138.00-145.00; High Dressing 1560 lbs 167.00; Low Dressing 1245-1845 
lbs 124.00-139.00. Cow/Calf Pairs: Medium and Large 1 835-965 lbs Young to 
Middle Aged Cows with calf under 300 lbs 2200.00-2425.00 per pair. Medium

   Hogs on Wednesday: Plant delivered weighted average. National Direct 
Barrows & Gilts were not reported. Sows live price 300-450

due to the Chicago Board of Trade closing for the January  09, 2025 National
