SC Farm Report on Tuesday

   Cattle at SC Auctions on Monday: Feeder Steers Medium and Large 1 400
-500 lbs 345.00-390.00, 500-600 lbs 302.50-327.50. Feeder Bulls: Medium 
and Large 1 400-500 lbs 360.00-390.00, 500-600 lbs 300.00. Feeder 
Heifers: Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs 267.00-335.00, 500-600 lbs 
250.00-270.00. Slaughter cows: Breakers 75-80% lean 123.00-137.00; Boners 
80%-85% lean 119.00-151.00; Lean 85-90% lean 107.00-137.00; Lean low 
dressing 70.00-114.00. Slaughter Bulls: Average Dressing 1400-1930 lbs 
137.00-174.00; High Dressing 1745 lbs 187.00; Low Dressing 
1120-1360 lbs 126.00-135.00. Cow/Calf Pairs: Medium and Large 2 920-1030 lbs 
Young to Middle Aged Cows with calves under 300 lbs 1765.00-1975.00 per pair. 
   Hogs on Monday: Plant delivered weighted average. National Direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 250-300 lbs were 61.13. Sows live 
price 300-450 lbs 48.75; 450-500 lbs 55.68; 500-550 lbs 57.17.     
   SC Grain on Tuesday: Corn bids were mostly 2 cents lower; elevator 
bids 4.79-5.44, processor bids 5.49-5.54. Soybeans were mixed 6 cents lower 
to 2 cents higher; elevator bids 10.13-10.47, processor bid 10.72, and exports 
10.77. Wheat bids were mostly 1 cent higher; elevator bids 4.86.
   Cotton on Tuesday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 14 cents  
lower at 66.25.
   Fruits & Vegetables: Prices paid to SC growers at the Columbia State
