SC Farm Report on Tuesday

   Cattle at SC Auctions on Monday: Feeder Steers Medium and Large 1 400
-500 lbs 323.00-377.50, 500-600 lbs 305.00-320.00. Feeder Bulls: Medium 
and Large 1 400-500 lbs 342.50-400.00, 500-600 lbs 260.00-320.00. Feeder 
Heifers: Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs 275.50-362.50, 500-600 lbs 
270.00-315.00. Slaughter cows: Breakers 75-80% lean 136.00-148.00; Boners 
80%-85% lean 125.00-151.00; Lean 85-90% lean 110.00-144.00; Lean low 
dressing 65.00-117.00. Slaughter Bulls: Average Dressing 1140-1905 lbs 
140.00-174.00; High Dressing 1875-2145 lbs 164.00-169.00; Low Dressing 
790-1160 lbs 107.00-135.00. Cow/Calf Pairs: Medium and Large 1 855-875 lbs 
Young to Middle Aged Cows with calves under 300 lbs 1475.00-1700.00 per pair. 
   Hogs on Monday: Plant delivered weighted average. National Direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 250-300 lbs were not reported . Sows live 
price 300-450 lbs 53.04; 450-500 lbs 57.90; 500-550 lbs 60.49.     
   SC Grain on Tuesday: Corn bids were 6 cents higher; elevator 
bids 4.95-5.60, processor bids 5.65-5.70. Soybeans were 33 cents higher; 
elevator bids 10.37-10.67, processor bid 10.92, and exports were
10.97. Wheat bids were 6 to 20 cents higher; elevator bids 4.98.
   Cotton on Tuesday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 87 cents  
higher at 65.10.
   Fruits & Vegetables: Prices paid to SC growers at the Columbia State
