SC Farm Report on Thursday

   Cattle at SC auctions on Tuesday: No comparisons made this week on 
feeder cattle due to limited comparable sales. Slaughter cows 4.00 higher 
based on limited comparable sales, slaughter bulls too few to trend. 
Light offerings of average quality cattle with active buyer participation. 
Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs none reported; 500-600 lbs 
none reported.  Feeder Bulls: Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs none 
reported; 500-600 lbs none reported. Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large 1 
400-500 290.00; 500-600 lbs none reported. Slaughter Cows: Breakers 
75-80% lean 133.00; Boners 80-85% lean 125.00-140.00; Lean 85-90% lean 
119.00-130.00; Lean Low Dressing none reported. Slaughter bulls: Average

Corn bids: elevator bids 4.94-5.59, processor bids 5.64-5.69. Soybeans: 
elevator bids 10.35-10.65, processor bid 10.90, and exports were
10.95. Wheat: elevator bids 4.94.
   Cotton on Tuesday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 33 cents  
higher at 65.97.
