SC Farm Report on Monday

   National direct slaughter cattle weekly summary. Weighted averages
for all grades, Standard to Prime, mostly Select and Choice. Live FOB
steers 1,530 lbs at 209.19, heifers 1,366 lbs at 208.91. Dressed 
delivered steers 981 lbs at 329.72, heifers 827 lbs at 329.73. Weekly 
boxed beef cutout values for 600-900 carcass weights Choice 331.22, down
2.29 and Select 318.10, down 0.61.
   National direct feeder pigs last Friday, per head weighted average
prices are delivered to the buyer's farm. Compared to last week, early 
weaned pigs are 1.00 per head lower and feeder pigs are 2.00 per head 
higher. Demand steady for moderate offerings. Feeder pigs 10-12 lbs cash 
basis 82.90; 40 lbs cash basis 107.00.
   Hogs on Friday. Plant delivered weighted average. National direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 240-300 lbs live price was not reported.
Sows live price 300-449 lbs 53.73, 450-499 lbs 58.39, and 500-549 lbs 
61.59.
   SC Grain on Monday: Corn bids were 4 to 9 cents lower; elevator bids 
4.87-5.52, processor bids 5.57.  Soybeans bids were 10 to 11 cents lower;
elevator bids 10.15-10.45, processor bid 10.70 and export 10.75.  Wheat 
bids were 4 to 9 cents lower; elevator bids 4.75-5.67.
   Cotton on Monday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was .34 lower 
at 65.77.
