Compared to last week no comparisons on feeder steers and feeder
bulls were steady. Feeder heifers were 1.00 lower. Slaughter cows were
2.00 lower. Slaughter bulls were 2.00 higher. Feeder Steers: Medium and
Large 1 400-500 lbs 347.50-380.00; 500-600 lbs 290.00-355.00. Feeder
Bulls: Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs 320.00-430.00; 500-600 lbs 259.00-
320.00. Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs 281.50-327.50;
500-600 lbs 255.00-297.50. Slaughter Cows: Breakers 75-80% lean 128.00-
157.00; Boners 80-85% lean 125.00-157.00; High Dressing 150.00-175.00;
Lean 85-90% lean 106.00-147.00; Lean low dressing 70.00-117.00. Slaughter
Bulls: Average dressing 830-2265 lbs 131.00-180.00; High Dressing 930-

4.87-5.52, processor bids 5.57. Soybean bids were 2 cents lower;
elevator bids 10.12-10.42, processor bid 10.67 and exports at 10.72.
Wheat bids were 7 to 8 cents lower; elevator bids 4.99.
Cotton on Friday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 0.39 lower
at 64.63.
