SC Farm Report on Monday

   National direct slaughter cattle weekly summary. Weighted averages
for all grades, Standard to Prime, mostly Select and Choice. Live FOB
steers 1,509 lbs at 209.57, heifers 1,338 lbs at 209.26. Dressed 
delivered steers 984 lbs at 329.09, heifers 854 lbs at 329.27. Weekly 
boxed beef cutout values for 600-900 carcass weights Choice 329.65, down
1.58 and Select 319.23, up 1.13.
   National direct feeder pigs last Friday, per head weighted average
prices are delivered to the buyer's farm. Compared to last week, early 
weaned pigs are steady to weak and feeder pigs are steady. Demand 
moderate for moderate offerings. Feeder pigs 10-12 lbs cash basis 85.05; 
40 lbs cash basis 107.74.
   Hogs on Friday. Plant delivered weighted average. National direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 240-300 lbs live price was 0.50 lower at 
63.88.  Sows live price 300-449 lbs 59.33, 450-499 lbs 65.27, and 500-549 
lbs 68.20.
   SC Grain on Monday: Corn bids were 6 to 7 cents higher; elevator bids 
4.93-5.58, processor bids 5.63.  Soybeans bids were 11 to 26 cents 
higher; elevator bids 10.28-10.58, processor bid 10.93 and export 10.83.  
Wheat bids were 7 to 8 cents higher; elevator bids 5.06-5.74.
   Cotton on Monday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 0.16 
higher at 64.79.
