SC Farm Report on Tuesday

   Cattle at SC Auctions on Monday: Feeder Steers Medium and Large 1 400
-500 lbs 360.00-392.50, 500-600 lbs none reported. Feeder Bulls: Medium 
and Large 1 400-500 lbs 375.00-440.00, 500-600 lbs 272.50-347.50. Feeder 
Heifers: Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs 275.00-320.00, 500-600 lbs 
280.00-295.00. Slaughter cows: Breakers 75-80% lean 125.00-149.00; Boners 
80%-85% lean 120.00-154.00; Lean 85-90% lean 112.00-135.00; Lean low 
dressing 76.00-115.00. Slaughter Bulls: Average Dressing 1140-1985 lbs 
143.00-165.00; High Dressing 1840-2130 lbs 167.00-175.00; Low Dressing 
880 lbs 122.50. Cow/Calf Pairs: Medium and Large 1 1305 lbs Young to

   Hogs on Monday: Plant delivered weighted average. National Direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 250-300 lbs were 0.61 lower at 63.27. 
Sows live price 300-450 lbs 62.68; 450-500 lbs 68.16; 500-550 lbs 69.51.     
   SC Grain on Tuesday: Corn bids were 6 cents higher; elevator 
bids 4.99-5.64, processor bids 5.69. Soybeans were 17 cents higher; 
elevator bids 10.45-10.75, processor bid 11.10, and exports were
11.00. Wheat bids were 5 to 11 cents higher; elevator bids 5.17-5.79.
   Cotton on Tuesday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 0.90 
higher at 65.69.
   Fruits & Vegetables: Prices paid to SC growers at the Columbia State
