SC Farm Report on Monday

   National direct slaughter cattle weekly summary. Weighted averages
for all grades, Standard to Prime, mostly Select and Choice. Live FOB
steers 1,529 lbs at 207.05, heifers 1,336 lbs at 206.80. Dressed 
delivered steers 984 lbs at 326.98, heifers 851 lbs at 327.79. Weekly 
boxed beef cutout values for 600-900 carcass weights Choice 326.78, down
2.86 and Select 315.85, down 3.38.
   National direct feeder pigs last Friday, per head weighted average
prices are delivered to the buyer's farm. Compared to last week, early 
weaned pigs are weak to 2.00 lower and feeder pigs are 2.00 lower. Demand 
light for moderate offerings. Feeder pigs 10-12 lbs cash basis 83.63; 
40 lbs cash basis 105.93.
   Hogs on Friday. Plant delivered weighted average. National direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 240-300 lbs live price was not reported.  
Sows live price 300-449 lbs 63.83, 450-499 lbs 71.60, and 500-549 
lbs 74.20.
   SC Grain on Monday: Corn bids were 4 cents higher; elevator bids 
4.96-5.61, processor bids 5.66.  Soybeans bids were steady; elevator bids 
10.19-10.41, processor bid 10.84 and export 10.74.  Wheat bids were 
mixed, 4 cents lower to 4 cents higher; elevator bids 5.19-5.76.
   Cotton on Monday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 1.16 
higher at 65.54.
