SC Farm Report on Wednesday

   Cattle at SC auctions on Tuesday:  No comparisons made this week due 
to limited comparable sales. Light offering of average to plain quality 
cattle due to extremely wet conditions in the area. Feeder Steers: Medium 
and Large 1 400-500 lbs none reported; 500-600 lbs none reported. Feeder 
Bulls: Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs none reported; 500-600 lbs none 
reported. Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs 300.00-310.00; 
500-600 lbs 235.00-240.00. Slaughter cows: Breakers 75-80% lean none 
reported; Boners 80-85% lean 148.00-151.00; Lean 85-90% lean 126.00; 
Lean Low Dressing 70.00. Slaughter bulls: High Dressing none reported; 
Average Dressing 1735 lbs 168.00; Low Dressing none reported. Cow/Calf 
Pairs: none reported.
   Hogs on Tuesday: Plant delivered weighted average.  National Direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 240-300 lbs were 1.47 lower at 66.76. 
Sows live price 300-450 lbs 70.65; 450-500 lbs 77.00; 500-550 lbs 80.60.
   SC Grain on Wednesday: Corn bids were 5 cents lower; elevator bids
4.92-5.67, processor bid 5.72. Soybeans were 6-7 cents lower; elevator 
bids 10.11-10.31, processor bids 10.66, and exports were 10.51. Wheat bids 
were 5 to 13 cents lower; elevator bids 5.32-5.75.  
   Cotton on Wednesday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 1.14
lower at 66.68.
