SC Farm Report on Tuesday

   Cattle at SC Auctions on Monday: Feeder Steers Medium and Large 1 
400-500 lbs 370.00-385.00, 500-600 lbs none reported. Feeder Bulls: 
Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs 300.00-375.00, 500-600 lbs 285.00-330.00. 
Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs 280.00-350.00, 500-600 lbs 
247.50-275.00. Slaughter cows: Breakers 75-80% lean 135.00-151.00; Boners 
80%-85% lean 130.00-157.00; Lean 85-90% lean 107.00-140.00; Lean low 
dressing 86.00-121.00. Slaughter Bulls: Average Dressing 1050-2275 lbs 
147.00-179.00; High Dressing 1580-2230 lbs 175.00-196.00; Low Dressing 
810-1610 lbs 127.00-144.00. Cow/Calf Pairs: Medium and Large 1 1070-1310

   Hogs on Monday: Plant delivered weighted average. National Direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 250-300 lbs were 1.10 lower at 66.33. 
Sows live price 300-450 lbs 74.59; 450-500 lbs 82.53; 500-550 lbs 83.90.     
   SC Grain on Tuesday: Corn bids were 2-3 cents lower; elevator 
bids 4.74-5.49, processor bids 5.54. Soybeans were 2 cents higher; 
elevator bids 10.11-10.31, processor bid 10.66, and exports were
10.51. Wheat bids were 2 to 7 cents lower; elevator bids 5.12.
   Cotton on Tuesday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 51 cents  
lower at 66.37.
   Fruits & Vegetables: Prices paid to SC growers at the Columbia State 
Farmers Market on Tuesday.  Beets 25 lb filmbags Red type topped 18.00;
