SC Farm Report on Monday

   National direct slaughter cattle weekly summary. Weighted averages
for all grades, Standard to Prime, mostly Select and Choice. Live FOB
steers 1,516 lbs at 200.28, heifers 1,359 lbs at 199.66. Dressed 
delivered steers 983 lbs at 316.43, heifers 864 lbs at 315.72. Weekly 
boxed beef cutout values for 600-900 carcass weights Choice 314.07, up
1.28 and Select 303.65, up 0.55.
   National direct feeder pigs last Friday, per head weighted average
prices are delivered to the buyer's farm. Compared to last week, early 
weaned pigs are 8.00 lower and feeder pigs are 6.00 lower. Demand 
light to moderate for moderate offerings. Feeder pigs 10-12 lbs cash 
basis 62.45; 40 lbs cash basis 102.69.
   Hogs on Friday. Plant delivered weighted average. National direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 240-300 lbs live price was 2.83 higher 
at 67.51.  Sows live price 300-449 lbs 73.41, 450-499 lbs 80.20, and 500-
549 lbs 82.66.
   SC Grain on Monday: Corn bids were 3 to 4 cents higher; elevator bids 
5.28, processor bids 5.33.  Soybeans bids were 10 to 11 cents lower; 
elevator bids 9.79-9.99, processor bid 10.39 and export 10.19.  Wheat 
bids were 4 to 12 cents lower; elevator bids 4.85-5.34.
   Cotton on Monday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 0.07 
lower at 65.00.
