SC Farm Report on Monday

   National direct slaughter cattle weekly summary. Weighted averages
for all grades, Standard to Prime, mostly Select and Choice. Live FOB
steers 1,531 lbs at 205.30, heifers 1,373 lbs at 204.79. Dressed 
delivered steers 978 lbs at 324.97, heifers 859 lbs at 324.07. Weekly 
boxed beef cutout values for 600-900 carcass weights Choice 319.57, up
5.50 and Select 307.03, up 3.37.
   National direct feeder pigs last Friday, per head weighted average
prices are delivered to the buyer's farm. Compared to last week, early 
weaned pigs are 8.00 lower and feeder pigs are mostly steady. Demand 
moderate for moderate offerings. Feeder pigs 10-12 lbs cash basis 53.95; 
40 lbs cash basis 106.18.
   Hogs on Friday. Plant delivered weighted average. National direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 240-300 lbs live price was not reported.  
Sows live price 300-449 lbs 69.40, 450-499 lbs 75.89, and 500-549 lbs 
79.25.
   SC Grain on Monday: Corn bids were 16 cents higher; elevator bids 
5.31, processor bids 5.36.  Soybeans bids were 1 cent lower to 16 cents 
higher; elevator bids 9.95-10.15, processor bid 10.55 and export 10.20.  
Wheat bids were 16 to 23 cents higher; elevator bids 5.08-5.30.
   Cotton on Monday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 0.39 
lower at 65.48.
