SC Farm Report on Tuesday

   Cattle at SC Auctions on Monday: Feeder Steers Medium and Large 1 400-
500 lbs 370.00-420.00, 500-600 lbs 330.00-382.50. Feeder Bulls: Medium 
and Large 1 400-500 lbs 385.00-430.00, 500-600 lbs 345.00-365.00. Feeder 
Heifers: Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs 310.00-355.00, 500-600 lbs 
275.00-325.00. Slaughter cows: Breakers 75-80% lean 140.00-164.00; Boners 
80%-85% lean 142.00-165.00; Lean 85-90% lean 124.00-148.00; Lean low 
dressing 100.00-119.00. Slaughter Bulls: Average Dressing 1230-2265 lbs 
165.00-186.00; High Dressing 1840 lbs 188.00; Low Dressing 1020-1565 lbs

   Cow/Calf Pairs: Medium and Large 1 1040 lbs Middle Aged Cow with

   Hogs on Monday: Plant delivered weighted average. National Direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 250-300 lbs price was not reported. Sows 
live price 300-450 lbs 65.57; 450-500 lbs 74.11; 500-550 lbs 77.67.     
   SC Grain on Tuesday: Corn bids 6 to 7 cents lower; elevator bids 
4.28-5.28, processor bids 5.33. Soybean bids were 5 to 6 cents lower; 
elevator bids 9.82-10.02, processor bid 10.42, and export 10.07. 
Wheat bids were 5 to 6 cents lower; elevator bids 4.83.
   Cotton on Tuesday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 0.28  
lower at 63.64.
   Fruits & Vegetables: Prices paid to SC growers at the Columbia State
