SC Farm Report on Wednesday

   Cattle at SC auctions on Tuesday: Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1 400
-500 lbs 340.00-375.00; 500-600 lbs none reported. Feeder Bulls: Medium and 
Large 1 400-500 lbs 385.00-390.00; 500-600 lbs none rported. Feeder Heifers: 
Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs 315.00-340.00; 500-600 lbs none reported. 
Slaughter cows: Breakers 75-80% lean 150.00-158.00; Boners 80-85% lean 
144.00-160.00; Lean 85-90% lean 130.00-142.00; Lean Low Dressing 91.00-
125.00. Slaughter bulls: High Dressing none reported; Average Dressing 1590
-2155 lbs 174.00-188.00; Low Dressing 935-1010 lbs 123.00-147.00. Cow/Calf 
Pairs: Medium and Large 1 1145 lbs Young to Middle Aged Cows with calves 
under 300 lbs 2475.00 per pair.  
   Hogs on Tuesday: Plant delivered weighted average.  National Direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 240-300 lbs were 68.42. 
Sows live price 300-450 lbs 63.96; 450-500 lbs 71.08; 500-550 lbs 76.04.
   SC Grain on Wednesday: Corn bids were 6-7 cents lower; elevator bids
4.21-5.21, processor bid 5.26. Soybeans were 1 cent lower; elevator 
bids 9.81-10.26, processor bids 10.41, and exports were 10.06. Wheat bids 
were 7-8 cents lower; elevator bids 4.75.  
   Cotton on Wednesday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 54 cents
higher at 64.18.
