SC Farm Report on Tuesday

   Cattle at SC Auctions on Monday: Feeder Steers Medium and Large 1 
400-500 lbs 367.50-405.00, 500-600 lbs 346.00-379.00. Feeder Bulls: 
Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs none reported, 500-600 lbs 332.50-355.00. 
Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs 315.00-360.00, 500-600 lbs 
277.50-325.00. Slaughter cows: Breakers 75-80% lean 133.00-143.00; Boners 
80%-85% lean 135.00-153.00; Lean 85-90% lean 122.00-139.00; Lean low 
dressing 92.50-125.00. Slaughter Bulls: Average Dressing 1300-2200 lbs

   Hogs on Monday: Plant delivered weighted average. National Direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 250-300 lbs were 50 cents lower at 67.29. 
Sows live price 300-450 lbs 58.44; 450-500 lbs 66.76; 500-550 lbs 68.47. 
   SC Grain on Wednesday: Corn bids were 5 cents higher; elevator bids
4.39-5.39, processor bids 5.44. Soybeans were 9-10 cents higher; elevator 
bids 9.72, processor bids 10.07, and exports were 9.97. Wheat bids 
were 3-5 cents higher; elevator bids 4.80.      
   Cotton on Tuesday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 44 cents  
lower at 64.30.
   Fruits & Vegetables: Prices paid to SC growers at the Columbia State
