SC Farm Report on Wednesday

   Cattle at SC auctions on Tuesday: Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 
1 400-500 lbs none reported; 500-600 lbs 292.50-305.00. Feeder Bulls: 
Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs none reported; 500-600 lbs none reported. 
Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs none reported; 500-600 
lbs 270.00-295.00. Slaughter cows: Breakers 75-80% lean 130.00-148.00; 
Boners 80-85% lean 134.00-137.00; Lean 85-90% lean 125.00-128.00; Lean 
Low Dressing 80.00-120.00. Slaughter bulls: High Dressing none reported; 
Average Dressing 1275 lbs 160.00; Low Dressing 1330 lbs 145.00-149.00. 
Cow/Calf Pairs: none reported   
   Hogs on Tuesday: Plant delivered weighted average.  National Direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 250-300 lbs were 1.33 higher at 68.62. 
Sows live price 300-450 lbs 57.58; 450-500 lbs 64.24; 500-550 lbs 68.41.
   SC Grain on Wednesday: Corn bids were 5 cents higher; elevator bids
4.44-5.44, processor bids 5.49. Soybeans were 20 cents higher; elevator 
bids 9.92, processor bids 10.27, and exports were 10.17. Wheat bids 
were 2-5 cents higher; elevator bids 4.82.  
   Cotton on Wednesday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 1.08 
higher at 65.38.
