SC Farm Report on Monday
National direct slaughter cattle weekly summary. Weighted averages
for all grades, Standard to Prime, mostly Select and Choice. Live FOB
steers 1,485 lbs at 220.97 heifers 1,358 lbs at 220.83. Dressed
delivered steers 973 lbs at 349.37, heifers 883 lbs at 351.21. Weekly
boxed beef cutout values for 600-900 carcass weights Choice 344.48, up
11.00 and Select 324.12, up 6.64.
National direct feeder pigs last Friday, per head weighted average compared to
last week, no trend. Feeder pigs 10-12 lbs cash basis 46.82; 40 lbs cash basis
79.29.
Hogs on Friday. Plant delivered weighted average. National direct
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 240-300 lbs live price was 70.34.
Sows live price 300-449 lbs 49.63 450-499 lbs 56.73, and 500-549 lbs
59.56.
SC Grain on Monday: Corn bids were 15 to 17 cents lower; elevator bids
4.14-5.16, processor bids 5.21. Soybeans bids were 10 to 18 cents lower; elevator
bids 9.35-10.63, processor bid n/a and export 10.40. Wheat bids were
12 to 15 cents lower; elevator bids 4.54.
Cotton on Monday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 0.01
higher at 67.42
