SC Farm Report on Tuesday

   Cattle at SC Auctions on Monday: Feeder Steers Medium and Large 1 
400-500 lbs 385.00-410.00, 500-600 lbs 332.50-365.00. Feeder Bulls: 
Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs 385.00-395.00, 500-600 lbs 315.00-
360.00. Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs 330.00-362.50, 
500-600 lbs 310.00-347.50. Slaughter cows: Breakers 75-80% lean 
141.00-160.00; Boners 80%-85% lean 139.00-155.00; Lean 85-90% lean 
135.00-145.00; Lean low dressing 107.00-128.00. Slaughter Bulls: 
Average Dressing 1085-2110 lbs 164.00-186.00; High Dressing 1735-1935

   Hogs on Monday: Plant delivered weighted average. National Direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 250-300 lbs were 1.37 higher at 71.71. 
Sows live price 300-450 lbs 52.31; 450-500 lbs 58.97; 500-550 lbs 61.51. 
   SC Grain on Tuesday: Corn bids were 1 cent lower; elevator bids
4.15-5.17, processor bids 5.22. Soybeans were 3-4 cents lower; 
elevator bids 9.31-10.59 and exports were 10.36. Wheat 
bids were 1-5 cents higher; elevator bids 4.59.      
   Cotton on Tuesday: Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 59 
cents lower at 66.83.
   Fruits & Vegetables: Prices paid to SC growers at the Columbia State
