SC Farm Report on Thursday

   Cattle at SC auctions on Wednesday: Feeder Steers: Medium and 
Large 1 400-500 lbs 390.00; 500-600 lbs 330.00. Feeder Bulls: 
Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs 380.00; 500-600 lbs none reported. 
Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs 340.00-370.00; 
500-600 lbs 320.00. Slaughter Cows: Breakers 75-80% lean 143.00-
150.00; Boners 80-85% lean 144.00-161.00; Lean 85-90% lean 132.00
-137.00; Lean Low Dressing 74.00-130.00. Slaughter bulls: Average 
Dressing 1175-1900 lbs 160.00-175.00; High Dressing 1835 lbs 
193.00; Low Dressing 1270-2165 lbs 149.50-152.00. Cow/Calf Pairs: 
Medium and Large 1 975-1260 lbs Young to Middle Aged Cows with calf 
under 300 lbs 3000.00-3350.00 per pair. 
   Hogs on Wednesday: Plant delivered weighted average. National 
Direct Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 240-300 lbs were 84 cents 
higher at 72.98. Sows live price 300-450 lbs 56.12; 450-500 lbs 
63.67; 500-550 lbs 65.79.
   SC Grain on Thursday: Corn bids were 3 cents higher; elevator 
bids 4.08-5.28, processor bids 5.08-5.38. Soybean bids were 16-27 
cents lower; elevator bids 9.41-10.76, and exports at 10.46. Wheat 
bids were 8-24 cents higher; elevator bids 4.82.  
   Cotton on Thursday: Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 
5 cents lower at 64.43.
   Fruits & Vegetables: Prices paid to SC growers at the Columbia
