SC Farm Report on Tuesday

   Cattle at SC Auctions on Monday: Feeder Steers Medium and Large 1 
400-500 lbs 372.50-417.50, 500-600 lbs 350.00-377.50. Feeder Bulls: 
Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs 375.00-415.00, 500-600 lbs 352.50-367.50. 
Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs 335.00-370.00, 500-600 
lbs 310.00-347.50. Slaughter cows: Breakers 75-80% lean 152.00-167.00; 
Boners 80%-85% lean 140.00-168.00; Lean 85-90% lean 133.00-156.00; Lean

   Hogs on Monday: Plant delivered weighted average. National Direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 250-300 lbs were 2.28 higher at 70.38. 
Sows live price 300-450 lbs 58.63; 450-500 lbs 67.72; 500-550 lbs 69.34. 
   SC Grain on Tuesday: Corn bids were 7 cents higher; elevator bids
4.14-5.34, processor bids 5.14-5.44.  Soybeans were 2 to 3 cents higher; 
elevator bids 9.43-10.68 and exports were 10.48.  News Crop Wheat bids 
were 7 to 17 cents higher; elevator bids 4.60-5.14.      
   Cotton on Tuesday: Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 48 cents 
higher at 65.12.
   Fruits & Vegetables: Prices paid to SC growers at the Columbia State
