SC Farm Report on Wednesday

   Cattle at SC auctions on Tuesday: Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 
1 400-500 lbs 390.00-400.00; 500-600 lbs 380.00. Feeder Bulls: Medium 
and Large 1 400-500 lbs 395.00; 500-600 lbs 340.00-350.00. Feeder 
Heifers: Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs 340.00-355.00; 500-600 lbs 
302.50-310.00. Slaughter cows: Breakers 75-80% lean 150.00-160.00; 
Boners 80-85% lean 150.00-151.00; Lean 85-90% lean 148.00; Lean Low 
Dressing 113.00-132.00. Slaughter bulls: Average Dressing 1685 lbs 
176.00; High Dressing 1520 lbs 200.00; Low Dressing 1420 lbs 160.00. 
Cow/Calf Pairs: Medium and Large 3 790-910 lbs Young to Middle Aged 
Cows with calves under 300 lbs 1775.00-1850.00 per pair.    
   Hogs on Tuesday: Plant delivered weighted average.  National 
Direct Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 250-300 lbs were 89 cents 
higher at 71.90. Sows live price 300-450 lbs 60.59; 450-500 lbs 67.47; 
500-550 lbs 69.78.
    SC Grain on Wednesday: Corn bids were 7 cents higher; elevator 
bids 4.21-5.41, processor bids 5.21-5.51. Soybean bids were 9-10 cents 
higher; elevator bids 9.52-10.72, and exports at 10.57. Wheat 
bids were 3 cents higher; elevator bids 4.99. 
   Cotton on Wednesday: Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 5 
cents lower at 65.07.
   Fruits & Vegetables: Prices paid to SC growers at the Columbia
