SC Farm Report on Wednesday

   Cattle at SC auctions on Tuesday: Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 
1 400-500 lbs none reported; 500-600 lbs none reported. Feeder 
Heifers: Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs 320.00-365.00; 500-600 lbs 
none reported. Feeder Bulls: Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs 385.00; 
500-600 lbs none reported. Slaughter cows: Breakers 75-80% lean 
149.00-156.00; Boners 80-85% lean 144.00-151.00; Lean 85-90% lean 
141.00; Lean Low Dressing 127.00. Slaughter Bulls: Average Dressing 
1025-1605 lbs 160.00-173.00; High Dressing none reported; Low 
Dressing 1310 lbs 164.00. Cow/Calf Pairs: Small 1 650 lbs Young to 
Middle Aged Cows with calves under 300 lbs 1550.00 per pair.    
   Hogs on Tuesday: Plant delivered weighted average.  National 
Direct Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 250-300 lbs were not 
reported. Sows live price 300-450 lbs 61.35; 450-500 lbs 67.95; 
500-550 lbs 69.48.
    SC Grain on Wednesday: Corn bids were 1 cent higher; elevator 
bids 3.98-5.18, processor bids 4.98-5.28. Soybean bids were 4-5 cents 
higher; elevator bids 9.35-10.05, and exports at 10.50. Wheat 
bids were 1-7 cents higher; elevator bids 4.53-4.93. 
   Cotton on Wednesday: Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 1.06 
lower at 63.99.
