SC Farm Report on Tuesday

   Cattle at SC Auctions on Monday: Feeder Steers Medium and Large 1 
400-500 lbs 375.00-387.50, 500-600 lbs 350.00-382.50. Feeder Heifers: 
Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs 335.00-380.00, 500-600 lbs 300.00-332.00. 
Feeder Bulls: Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs 345.00-390.00, 500-600 
lbs 340.00-365.00. Slaughter Cows: Breakers 75-80% lean 150.00-159.00; 
Boners 80%-85% lean 141.00-164.00; Lean 85-90% lean 135.00-156.00; Lean 
low dressing 81.00-139.00. Slaughter Bulls: Average Dressing 1225-1820

   Hogs on Monday: Plant delivered weighted average. National Direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 250-300 lbs were 76.46. Sows live price 
300-450 lbs 64.21; 450-500 lbs 71.38; 500-550 lbs 74.83. 
   SC Grain on Tuesday: Corn bids were 3-4 cents lower; elevator bids
3.91-5.11, processor bids 4.91-5.21. Soybeans were 4-5 cents higher; 
elevator bids 9.64-10.34. Wheat bids were mixed, 4 cents lower to 13 cents 
higher; elevator bids 4.49-4.99.      
   Cotton on Tuesday: Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 17 cents 
lower at 65.63.
   Fruits & Vegetables: Prices paid to SC growers at the Columbia State
