SC Farm Report on Tuesday

   Cattle at SC Auctions on Monday: Feeder Steers Medium and Large 1 
400-500 lbs 357.50-405.00, 500-600 lbs 345.00-355.00. Feeder Heifers: 
Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs 330.00-365.00, 500-600 lbs 322.50-350.00. 
Feeder Bulls: Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs 347.50-395.00, 500-600 
lbs 347.50-360.00. Slaughter Cows: Breakers 75-80% lean 152.00-164.00; 
Boners 80%-85% lean 151.00-171.00; Lean 85-90% lean 135.00-147.00; Lean

   Hogs on Monday: Plant delivered weighted average. National Direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 250-300 lbs were 80.89. Sows live price 
300-450 lbs 71.02; 450-500 lbs 79.77; 500-550 lbs 80.98. 
   SC Grain on Tuesday: Corn bids were 3 cents lower; elevator bids 3.76
-4.96, processor bids 4.76-5.16. Soybeans were 12 cents lower; elevator 
bids 9.36-10.06. Wheat bids were 3-17 cents lower; elevator bids 
4.37-4.85.      
   Cotton on Tuesday: Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 56 cents 
higher at 66.94.
   Fruits & Vegetables: Prices paid to SC growers at the Columbia State
