SC Farm Report on Wednesday

   Cattle at SC auctions on Tuesday: Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 
1 400-500 lbs none reported; 500-600 lbs none reported. Feeder Heifers: 
Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs 320.00; 500-600 lbs 305.00. Feeder 
Bulls: Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs none reported; 500-600 lbs none 
reported. Slaughter cows: Breakers 75-80% lean none reported; Boners 80
-85% lean 149.00-163.00; Lean 85-90% lean 145.00-151.00; Lean Low Dressing 
76.00. Slaughter Bulls: Average Dressing 1825 lbs 177.00; High Dressing 
1720-2110 lbs 195.00-205.00; Low Dressing 1155 lbs 170.00. Cow/Calf Pairs:  
Medium and Large 1 1130 lbs Young to Middle Aged Cows with Calves under 
300 lbs 2650.00 per pair.   
   Hogs on Tuesday: Plant delivered weighted average.  National Direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 250-300 lbs were 2.66 higher at 83.55. 
Sows live price 300-450 lbs 71.61; 450-500 lbs 78.82; 500-550 lbs 80.95.
    SC Grain on Wednesday: Corn bids were 6 cents lower; elevator 
bids 3.70-4.90, processor bids 4.70-5.10. Soybean bids were 21 
cents lower; elevator bids 9.16-9.85, and exports at 10.65. Wheat 
bids were 6-8 cents lower; elevator bids 4.30-4.78. 
   Cotton on Wednesday: Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 43 
cents higher at 67.37.
   Fruits & Vegetables: Prices paid to SC growers at the Columbia
