SC Farm Report on Wednesday

   Cattle at SC auctions on Tuesday: Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 
1 400-500 lbs none reported; 500-600 lbs 362.50. Feeder Heifers: Medium 
and Large 1 400-500 lbs none reported; 500-600 lbs 315.00-320.00. Feeder 
Bulls: Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs 350.00; 500-600 lbs 325.00-335.00. 
Slaughter cows: Breakers 75-80% lean none reported; Boners 80-85% lean 
168.00-170.00; Lean 85-90% lean 144.00-152.50; Lean Low Dressing 110.00-
130.00. Slaughter Bulls: Average Dressing 955-1705 lbs 174.00-194.00; 
High Dressing none reported; Low Dressing 920-1300 lbs 155.00-170.00. 
Cow/Calf Pairs: none reported.   
   Hogs on Tuesday: Plant delivered weighted average.  National Direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 250-300 lbs were 1.19 higher at 81.48. 
Sows live price 300-450 lbs 76.17; 450-500 lbs 85.12; 500-550 lbs 86.13.
    SC Grain on Wednesday: Corn bids were 1 cents higher; elevator 
bids 3.72-4.92, processor bids 4.49-5.12. Soybean bids were 12 
cents lower; elevator bids 9.02-9.72, export bids 10.39. Wheat 
bids were steady; elevator bids 4.24-4.92. 
   Cotton on Wednesday: Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 3 
cents higher at 65.61.
   Fruits & Vegetables: Prices paid to SC growers at the Columbia
