SC Farm Report on Thursday   
  	
   Cattle at SC Auctions on Wednesday: Compared to last week no 
comparisons made on feeder cattle due no slae last week. Feeder Steers: 
Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs none reported; 500-600 lbs 321.00-350.00. 
Feeder Bulls: Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs none reported; 500-600 lbs 
330.00. Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs 340.00, 500-600 
lbs 329.00-330.00. Slaughter cows: Breakers 75-80% lean 153.00-159.00; 
Boners 80-85% lean 154.00-176.00; High Dressing 192.50; Lean 85-90% lean 
136.00-146.00; Lean Low Dressing 60.00-134.00. Slaughter bulls: Average 
Dressing 175.00-185.00, Low Dressing 156.00, High Dressing 203.00-213.00.  
Cow/Calf Pairs: Medium and Large 1 1330 lbs Middle Aged Cow with 
Calf under 300 lbs 2775.00 per pair. Small 2 805 lbs Young Aged Cow with 
calf under 300 lbs 1700.00 per pair. 
  Hogs on Wednesday: Plant delivered weighted average. National Direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 240-300 lbs 0.12 lower at 111.90. Sows 
live price 300-450 lbs 77.41; 450-500 lbs 86.05; 500-550 lbs 86.10.
   SC Grain on Thursday. Corn bids were 5 cents lower; elevator bids 
3.67-4.87, processor bids 4.49-5.07. Soybean bids were steady; elevator 
bids 9.02-9.72, processor bids n/a, and export 10.42. Wheat bids were 
mixed, 5 cents lower to 8 cents higher; elevator bids 
4.32-5.00.
   Cotton on Thursday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 0.11
lower at 65.50.  
   Fruits & Vegetables: Prices paid to SC growers at the Columbia State
