SC Farm Report on Thursday   
  	
   Cattle at SC Auctions on Wednesday: Compared to last week no 
comparisons made on feeder cattle due to limited comparable sales . 
Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs none reported; 500-600 lbs 
330.00-360.00. Feeder Bulls: Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs none 
reported; 500-600 lbs none reported. Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large 1 
400-500 lbs 345.00-355.00, 500-600 lbs 300.00-332.00. Slaughter cows: 
Breakers 75-80% lean 154.00-167.50; Boners 80-85% lean 150.00-175.00; 
High Dressing none reported; Lean 85-90% lean 138.00-154.00; Lean Low 
Dressing 81.00-139.00. Slaughter bulls: Average Dressing 175.00-187.00, 
Low Dressing 162.00-170.00, High Dressing none reported.  
Cow/Calf Pairs: Medium and Large 1 1110-1150 lbs Young Aged Cows with 
Calves under 300 lbs 3300.00-3600.00 per pair. Medium and Large 1 1020-
1140 lbs Young Aged Cows with Calves over 300 lbs 3200.00 per pair. 
Medium and Large 2 900 lb Cow with Calf under 300 lbs 2700.00 per pair. 
  Hogs on Wednesday: Plant delivered weighted average. National Direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 240-300 lbs 2.64 higher at 83.07. Sows 
live price 300-450 lbs 77.72; 450-500 lbs 84.34; 500-550 lbs 86.56.
   SC Grain on Thursday. Corn bids too few to trend; elevator bids 
n/a, processor bids 4.52-5.02. Soybean bids were 8 cents higher; elevator 
bids 9.61, processor bids n/a, and export 10.71. Wheat bids were 
3 to 8 cents lower; elevator bids 4.41-4.73.
   Cotton on Thursday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 0.50
higher at 66.50.  
   Fruits & Vegetables: Prices paid to SC growers at the Columbia State 
Farmers Market on Thursday. Beans approx.. 26 lb sks Lima type
