SC Farm Report on Monday

   National direct slaughter cattle weekly summary. Weighted averages
for all grades, Standard to Prime, mostly Select and Choice. Live FOB
steers 1,479 lbs at 237.21, heifers 1,340 lbs at 235.27. Dressed 
delivered steers 955 lbs at 379.21, heifers 873 lbs at 378.63. Weekly 
boxed beef cutout values for 600-900 carcass weights Choice 374.89, down 
11.86 and Select 358.08, down 15.24.
   National direct feeder pigs last Friday, per head weighted average
prices are delivered to the buyer's farm. Compared to last week: Early 
weaned pigs steady, feeder pigs mostly 6.00 lower. Mostly moderate
demand moderate for moderate offerings. Feeder pigs 10-12 lbs cash basis 
57.32; 40 lbs cash basis 76.44.
   Hogs on Friday. Plant delivered weighted average. National direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 240-300 lbs price was not available. 
Sows live price 300-449 lbs 79.71, 450-499 lbs 86.23, and 500-549 
lbs 88.96.
   SC Grain on Monday: Corn had too few bids to trend, New Crop was 5 to 6 
cents lower; elevator bids 4.03-5.02, processor bids 4.53-5.03. Soybean 
bids were 12 to 13 cents lower, New Crop 9 to 10 cents lower; elevator 
bids 9.55-9.91, and export 10.65. Wheat bids were 4 to 6 cents lower: 
elevator bids 4.42-4.82.
   Cotton on Monday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 58 cents
lower at 65.79
