SC Farm Report on Wednesday

   Cattle at SC auctions on Tuesday: Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1 400
-500 lbs 390.00-397.50; 500-600 lbs none reported. Feeder Heifers: Medium 
and Large 1 400-500 lbs 352.50; 500-600 lbs 330.00. Feeder Bulls: Medium and 
Large 1 400-500 lbs 390.00-395.00; 500-600 lbs 345.00-360.00. Slaughter cows: 
Breakers 75-80% lean 154.00; Boners 80-85% lean 150.00-161.00; Lean 85-90% 
lean 146.00-153.00; Lean Low Dressing 141.00. Slaughter Bulls: Average 
Dressing 1165-1870 lbs 174.00-189.00; High Dressing none reported; Low 
Dressing 1040 lbs 160.00. Cow/Calf Pairs: Small 3 600 lbs Young to Middle Aged 
Cows with calves under 300 lbs 1150.00 per pair.
   Hogs on Tuesday: Plant delivered weighted average.  National Direct Barrows 
& Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 250-300 lbs were 58 cents higher at 80.94. Sows live price 
300-450 lbs 80.25; 450-500 lbs 87.27; 500-550 lbs 89.80.
   SC Grain on Wednesday: Corn had too few bids to trend, New Crop was 1 cent lower; 
elevator bids 4.07-4.83, processor bids 4.48-4.98. Soybean bids were 4 to 5 cents 
lower; elevator bids 9.45, export bids 10.65. Wheat bids were 1 to 9 cents lower; 
elevator bids 4.32-4.80. 
   Cotton on Wednesday: Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 3 cents 
higher at 65.87.
   Fruits & Vegetables: Prices paid to SC growers at the Columbia State Farmers 
Market on Wednesday. Beans approx.. 26 lb sks Lima type Green 35.00, Lime type
