SC Farm Report on Tuesday

   Cattle at SC Auctions on Monday: Feeder Steers Medium and Large 1 
400-500 lbs 375.00-420.00, 500-600 lbs 331.00-375.00. Feeder Heifers: 
Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs 330.00-387.50, 500-600 lbs 300.00-356.00. 
Feeder Bulls: Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs 347.50-420.00, 500-600 
lbs 317.50-375.00. Slaughter Cows: Breakers 75-80% lean 144.00-179.00; 
Boners 80%-85% lean 145.00-179.00; Lean 85-90% lean 135.00-165.00; Lean 
low dressing 105.00-151.00. Slaughter Bulls: Average Dressing 965-1795

   Hogs on Monday: Plant delivered weighted average. National Direct Barrows 
& Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 250-300 lbs were 82.57. Sows live price 300-450 lbs 
85.40; 450-500 lbs 91.97; 500-550 lbs 93.28. 
   SC Grain on Tuesday: Corn bids were 5-6 cents lower; elevator bids 3.77-4.66, 
processor bids 4.56. Soybeans were steady; elevator bids 9.09, export bids 10.29. 
Wheat bids were 6-9 cents lower; elevator bids 4.48.      
   Cotton on Tuesday: Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 1.03 
higher at 64.59.
   Fruits & Vegetables: Prices paid to SC growers at the Columbia State
