SC Farm Report on Wednesday

   Cattle at SC auctions on Tuesday: Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1 
400-500 lbs none reported; 500-600 lbs 360.00. Feeder Heifers: 
Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs 362.50-365.00; 500-600 lbs 330.00-340.00. 
Feeder Bulls: Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs 377.50; 500-600 lbs 
none reported. Slaughter cows: Breakers 75-80% lean 178.00; Boners 80-85% 
lean 159.00-170.00; Lean 85-90% lean 155.00-156.00; Lean Low Dressing 
140.00-144.00. Slaughter Bulls: Average Dressing 960-1855 lbs 187.50-
198.00; High Dressing none reported; Low Dressing none reported. Cow/Calf 
Pairs: Medium and Large 2 1025 lbs Young to Middle Aged Cows with calves 
under 300 lbs 1900.00 per pair.
   Hogs on Tuesday: Plant delivered weighted average.  National Direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 250-300 lbs were not reported. Sows live 
price 300-450 lbs 91.21; 450-500 lbs 98.44; 500-550 lbs 98.86.
   SC Grain on Wednesday: Corn bids were 2 cents higher; elevator bids 
3.72-4.59, processor bid 4.49. Soybean bids were 11 cents higher; 
elevator bids 9.63, export bids 10.83. Wheat bids were 2-3 cents higher; 
elevator bids 3.99-4.47. 
   Cotton on Wednesday: Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 66 cents 
lower at 65.41.
   Fruits & Vegetables: Prices paid to SC growers at the Columbia State
