SC Farm Report on Tuesday

   Cattle at SC Auctions on Monday: Feeder Steers Medium and Large 1 
400-500 lbs 400.00-440.00, 500-600 lbs 370.00-401.00. Feeder Heifers: 
Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs 360.00-435.00, 500-600 lbs 339.00-375.00. 
Feeder Bulls: Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs 400.00-470.00, 500-600 
lbs 322.50-385.00. Slaughter Cows: Breakers 75-80% lean 163.00-170.00; 
Boners 80%-85% lean 160.00-179.00; Lean 85-90% lean 131.00-160.00; Lean 
low dressing 121.00-147.00. Slaughter Bulls: Average Dressing 1245-1970

   Hogs on Monday: Plant delivered weighted average. National Direct Barrows 
& Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 250-300 lbs were not reported. Sows live price 
300-450 lbs 89.69; 450-500 lbs 98.26; 500-550 lbs 100.39. 
   SC Grain on Tuesday: Corn bids were mostly 3 cents higher; elevator bids 
3.83-4.83, processor bid 4.83. New Crop Soybeans were 13 cents lower; elevator 
bids 9.76-10.01, export bids 10.66-10.74. Wheat bids were 5 cents higher; 
elevator bids 4.53.      
   Cotton on Tuesday: Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 64 cents 
lower at 63.57.
   Fruits & Vegetables: Prices paid to SC growers at the Columbia State
