SC Farm Report on Monday

   National direct slaughter cattle weekly summary. Weighted averages
for all grades, Standard to Prime, mostly Select and Choice. Live FOB
steers 1,526 lbs at 242.55 heifers 1,340 lbs at 242.59. Dressed 
delivered steers 996 lbs at 383.15, heifers 838 lbs at 383.32. Weekly 
boxed beef cutout values for 600-900 carcass weights Choice 0.94 higher at 413.60
and Select 1.22 lower at 386.72.  
   National direct feeder pigs last Friday, per head weighted average compared to 
last week, Early weaned pigs steady, feeder pigs steady.
Mostly moderate demand for moderate offerings.  Feeder pigs 10-12 lbs cash basis
56.83; 40 lbs cash basis 74.79.
   Hogs on Friday. Plant delivered weighted average. National direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 240-300 lbs live price was 0.63 lower at 77.37.  
Sows live price 300-449 lbs 89.39 450-499 lbs 95.41, and 500-549 lbs 
99.14.
   SC Grain on Monday: Corn bids were mostly 3 to 4 cents higher, one location
23 cents higher; elevator bids 3.96-5.01, processor bids 4.81-5.19.  New Crop Soybeans
bids were mostly 6 to 7 cents higher; elevator bids 9.68-9.93, processor bid n/a and export 10.58.
Wheat bids were mostly 4 cents higher, one location 23 cents higher; elevator bids 4.28-4.63.
   Cotton on Monday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 0.18
higher at 63.57.
