SC Farm Report on Thursday

   Cattle at SC auctions on Wednesday: Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 
1 400-500 lbs 412.00; 500-600 lbs 367.50-370.00. Feeder Heifers: 
Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs 385.00-410.00; 500-600 lbs 360.00. 
Feeder Bulls: Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs 405.00-420.00; 500-600 lbs 
355.00. Slaughter Cows: Breakers 75-80% lean 150.00-163.00; Boners 
80-85% lean 150.00-174.00; Lean 85-90% lean 130.00-140.00; Lean Low 
Dressing 70.00-131.00. Slaughter Bulls: Average Dressing 1140-2420 lbs 
180.00-187.00; High Dressing none reported; Low Dressing 1040-1985 lbs 
164.00-179.00. Cow/Calf Pairs: Medium and Large 2 805 lbs Young to

   Hogs on Wednesday: Plant delivered weighted average. National Direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 240-300 lbs were 2.93 higher at 81.30. Sows 
live price 300-450 lbs 87.16; 450-500 lbs 91.75; 500-550 lbs 95.99.
   SC Grain on Thursday: Corn bids were 2-3 cents higher; elevator bids 
3.79-4.99, processor bids 4.79. New Crop Soybean bids were 8 cents higher; 
elevator bids 9.68-9.93, export bids at 10.58. Wheat bids were 3-8 cents 
higher; elevator bid 4.61. 
   Cotton on Thursday: Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 19 
cents lower at 64.37.
