SC Farm Report on Tuesday

   Cattle at SC Auctions on Monday: Feeder Steers Medium and Large 1 400-
500 lbs 412.50-455.00, 500-600 lbs 370.00-395.00. Feeder Heifers: Medium 
and Large 1 400-500 lbs 382.50-445.00, 500-600 lbs 350.00-373.00. Feeder 
Bulls: Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs 415.00-460.00, 500-600 lbs 367.50-
397.50. Slaughter Cows: Breakers 75-80% lean 154.00-173.00; Boners 80%-85% 
lean 152.00-177.00; Lean 85-90% lean 136.00-167.50; Lean low dressing 
122.50-148.00. Slaughter Bulls: Average Dressing 1040-2290 lbs 187.00-
205.00; High Dressing 1515-1840 lbs 200.00-209.00; Low Dressing 980-2465 
lbs 141.00-187.00. Cow/Calf Pairs: Medium and Large 1 1235-1310 lbs Young 
to Middle Aged Cows with calves under 300 lbs 2750.00-3100.00 per pair.
   Hogs on Monday: Plant delivered weighted average. National Direct Barrows 
& Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 250-300 lbs were 1.38 higher at 80.61. Sows live 
price 300-450 lbs 84.31; 450-500 lbs 89.44; 500-550 lbs 94.90. 
   SC Grain on Tuesday: Corn bids were 6 cents higher; elevator bids 3.89-5.09, 
processor bid 4.89. New Crop Soybean bids were 7 cents higher; elevator bids 
9.84-10.09, export bid 10.74. Wheat bids were 6-9 cents higher; elevator bids 
4.69-4.74.      
   Cotton on Tuesday: Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 97 cents 
higher at 65.39.
   Fruits & Vegetables: Prices paid to SC growers at the Columbia State
