SC Farm Report on Tuesday

   Cattle at SC Auctions on Monday: Feeder Steers Medium and Large 1 400-500 
lbs 430.00-465.00, 500-600 lbs 370.00-390.00. Feeder Heifers: Medium and 
Large 1 400-500 lbs 380.00-425.00, 500-600 lbs 332.50-347.00. Feeder Bulls: 
Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs 402.50-450.00, 500-600 lbs 357.50-382.50. 
Slaughter Cows: Breakers 75-80% lean 154.00-173.00; Boners 80%-85% lean 
153.00-178.00; Lean 85-90% lean 130.00-160.00; Lean low dressing 109.00-148.00. 
Slaughter Bulls: Average Dressing 1240-1920 lbs 184.00-193.00; High Dressing 
1625-2015 lbs 205.00-207.00; Low Dressing 1135-1960 lbs 165.00-179.00. 
Cow/Calf Pairs: Medium and Large 2 985-1330 lbs Young to Middle Aged Cows 
with calves under 300 lbs 2100.00-3300.00 per pair.
   Hogs on Monday: Plant delivered weighted average. National Direct Barrows 
& Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 250-300 lbs were 2.54 lower at 78.74. Sows live price 
300-450 lbs 82.04; 450-500 lbs 87.10; 500-550 lbs 89.97. 
   SC Grain on Tuesday: Corn bids were 4-5 cents higher; elevator bids 3.86-5.06, 
processor bid 4.86. New Crop Soybean bids were 1 cent higher; elevator bids 
9.47-9.72, export bid 10.37. Wheat bids were 4-10 cents higher; elevator bid 
4.60.      
   Cotton on Tuesday: Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 21 cents 
higher at 65.14.
   Fruits & Vegetables: Prices paid to SC growers at the Columbia State
