SC Farm Report on Monday

   National direct slaughter cattle weekly summary. Weighted averages
for all grades, Standard to Prime, mostly Select and Choice. Live FOB
steers 1,546 lbs at 232.65 heifers 1,367 lbs at 233.80. Dressed 
delivered steers 1007 lbs at 364.97, heifers 901 lbs at 363.81. Weekly 
boxed beef cutout values for 600-900 carcass weights Choice 12.84 lower at 376.60
and Select 11.05 lower at 356.86.  
   National direct feeder pigs last Friday, per head weighted average compared to 
last week, Early weaned pigs steady and feeder pigs mostly 1.00 higher.  Mostly 
moderate to good demand for moderate offerings.  Feeder pigs 10-12 lbs cash basis
60.97; 40 lbs cash basis 77.65.
   Hogs on Friday. Plant delivered weighted average. National direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 240-300 lbs live price was 0.55 higher at
80.02.  
Sows live price 300-449 lbs 73.69 450-499 lbs 85.48, and 500-549 lbs 
85.31.
   SC Grain on Monday: Corn bids were mostly 1 cent lower, one location 
20 cents higher; elevator bids 3.96-5.01, processor bids 4.91.  New Crop
Soybeans bids were 3 to 4 cents lower; elevator bids 9.60-9.80, processor
bid n/a and export 10.35.
Wheat bids were steady to 1 cent lower; elevator bid 4.59.
   Cotton on Monday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 4.85
higher at 69.75.
