Benchmark prices are steady. Next week's asking prices are 78 cents higher
for Jumbo and Extra Large and Large, 20 cents higher for Medium and Small.
The undertone is firm. Retail and food service demand ranges light to
fairly good. Offerings are light. Supplies are light to instances fully
adequate. Market activity is moderate to active. Small benchmark pricing is
$5.95.
CALIFORNIA:
Shell egg marketer's benchmark price for negotiated egg sales of
USDA Grade AA and Grade AA in cartons, cents per dozen. This
price does not reflect discounts or other contract terms.
