SHELL EGGS: Daily National Egg Market-at-a-Glance
New York prices are down 3 cents for Extra Large, Large, and Medium.
California and regional prices are down 42 cents for Jumbo, 29.5 to
50.5 cents lower for Extra Large, down 36 to 49 cents for Large,
30 to 49 cents lower for Medium, and down 42 cents for Small. The
undertone is weak. Retail and distributive demand remains light to
moderate. Offerings are light to moderate. Supplies are light to
moderate. Market activity is slow to moderate. Breaking stock
offerings and demand are light to moderate. Spent fowl supplies
are moderate to heavy; processing schedules are normal.
