The negative impact that Donald Trump's tariff policies are having on US stockmarkets are prompting wealthy Australians to bring their money back home. However, they are not investing that money in the local sharemarket, due to the fact that it is experiencing the same downturns as Wall Street, with their money likely to find its way into the property market, with both the commercial and residential sectors likely to benefit. The 'coming back home' trend is also helping the Australian dollar, as is the strength of the gold price.
